This event aims to enhance the audience’s understanding of ethical issues that arise in the medical context through a fun and interactive workshop that will use popular television medical dramas and role-play to tease out and discuss the issues. By the end of the workshop, the audience members will become better familiarised with the key concepts and frameworks in the medico-legal field, such as consent, autonomy, and paternalism, as well as being able to recognise the key cases in these areas in the UK.
