This creative writing workshop is open to students at all skill levels and will be led by the Lothian Health Services Archive and creative writing tutors who will guide you through the process of writing a short story or poem.

You will find inspiration from the records of 19th century Edinburgh asylums and will have access to written patient and staff records as well as photographs.
